You made it this far. Now for the nitty-gritty. Don’t worry. Its simple and about giving you a wonderful experience. Referrals are the vast majority of my clients.

Offering an array of different photo sessions, I still price them similarly.

Mostly this comes down to the time commitment on my end. You simply choose how much you would like, and I make it happen. You can find more details on photo counts, locations, outfit changes, and more in the FAQ’s below.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I will give you all of the great photos we make during your session. Some sessions are more and some less, but I will clarify with you before booking anything. Here’s an idea of what to expect:

    1 Hour Sessions | 30-40 Photos

    2 Hour Sessions | 60-80 Photos

While I take many more photos than that during a session, I hand-pick and deliver only the best of the photos that fully capture the session.

Part of having me is my time in picking the best photos. This way when you receive your gallery it feels magical and you aren’t sorting through hundreds of photos that are almost identical. Of course if I am ever in doubt of which one you might like better, you simply get all the candidates. And you almost always get some goofy ones in there, too. I want you to have all the photos that truly tell the story of your day.

  • Definitely. But we need to be reasonable. The more outfits you change the less time we will have to get photos. And I love to go to multiple locations, but it’s a similar situation. Here’s a typical layout of my sessions, but this can be flexible if you have something in mind.

    1 Hour Sessions | 1-2 Outfits, 1-2 Locations

    2 Hour Sessions | 2-3 Outfits, 2 Locations

  • Let’s say you book a typical outdoor Engagement Session or Senior Session for 2 hours. Before the session even happens, we discuss locations and outfits, specific times, etc.

At the session, we meet at location 1, chat a bit in a relaxed conversation and I explain a little of the plan for our session. From there we will start with easy photos to simply get you comfortable and having fun. I guide the process, but a lot of feels like we are just walking around a park and seeing the sights. I prompt you to interact or pose naturally, and help get authentic moments that feel like you.

Once we get plenty of great photos in a certain spot, we casually move to the next spot, often getting some more documentary or candid style shots along the way.

We goof off, we try fun things. I show you some photos along the way and you let me know what you like. It often becomes a collaborative process, and it usually feels like we are just hanging out while I ask you to do things occasionally.

If we are going to a second location, we move on to that location once we have gotten plenty of great shots at the first location.

Afterwards, we chat a little bit about our favorite moments from the session, and I explain more about when you will receive your photos. And the next day, while you are still excited from the session, you get a few sneak peeks to share until the whole gallery is finished!

  • All the photos are delivered via a private online gallery, and yours to use for whatever you want! - Well, except selling them or telling people you took them. (Always a catch.)

I still own the copyright to the photos (an industry standard), but you can print them, post them, blog them, make an album, whatever. I want you to love them and share them with everyone! And I don’t need credit for them, but that is always appreciated.

Your online gallery also comes with a simple way to order prints or albums as well. While this is a little more expensive than taking them to CVS, they are better quality and ship directly to your door. As of now, I offer prints starting at $12 each, and Albums starting at $135.

  • When booking your session, we choose an ideal date and time. We will hold to that if at all possible. But as it gets closer and the weather doesn’t look great, we may have to re-schedule or change plans. Your session will be first priority for picking your next best date and time.

This is a collaborative decision. As I am fine working in inclement weather, your photo session might not be conducive to that. If the date is non-negotiable, you can decide to go indoors or use my studio if you would like.

  • Definitely. We have to spend your whole wedding day together. Let’s make sure we vibe. That’s why I make sure we meet or at least get on a call before booking.

Simply book an engagement session for $275. We get to know each other and get some great photos. After you get the photos from that session and you love them, that $275 would then act as your wedding deposit. Simple and no pressure.

Most of my wedding packages come with an engagement session, so why not offer this to make you feel more comfortable?

  • Absolutely. And Liability Insurance.

My contract is easy to read and comes with the files I send before booking. It protects you, and it protects me. There are a lot more details in it, but essentially says that I have to fulfill my duties and you have to pay for those services. (I wish it were that easy, but we can’t live on a handshake anymore…)

  • Just fill out the no pressure contact form below or give me a ring. Contacting me is just a way to start a conversation. More than anything, I want you to feel confident before booking anything.
