Hello. My name is Steve Miller. Not the famous rock star, but some of my friends do call me “Maurice.” I am the one getting into awkward positions with a camera in my hand, capturing real moments as they unfold. I love documenting an experience. The goal being to freeze fleeting moments into images that tell the story of the time you were there.

I love being part of the adventure and telling the story afterwards. Photography is a way for me to experience the world and tell that story. I feel privileged to get to be part of so many people’s stories, and make it a point to keep the focus on you. A born optimist, I am always excited to see your story unfold in front of me, and always add to your experience. And yes, I do have a sociology degree.

I love kayaking and exploring new places with friends. And I love good beer and coffee. Now residing in Columbus, Ohio, I live an action-packed life with two energetic dogs, a lazy cat, and a wife who keeps me busy as “Mandatory Maintenance” at our dance studio.
